Molnar's Community Update
August 30, 2024
Amherst Schools Educational Foundation
Dear Friends,
As 2024 draws to a close, we hope that you will remember the Amherst Schools Educational Foundation in your year-end giving. Without the generous support of our community, staff, alumni, and friends, we would not be able to achieve our mission of supporting the Amherst Schools. During 2024, ASEF was fortunate enough to award over $65,000 in scholarships to Steele High School seniors.
In addition, we are very proud to support the new Comet Corner that was built at Steele High School this past fall. The Comet Corner is a store in the high school that sells Amherst merchandise. Students are learning about business and entrepreneurship through operating this store.
As we celebrate ASEF’s 38th anniversary, the Board of Trustees is grateful for the support the donors have given the funds over the past 38 years. The two funds together have a value of over $2,000,000 and continue to grow each year.
In the holiday season, many of you make year-end charitable donations. The funds are tax-exempt 501 C(3) community funds. Consider a gift to either of the funds as a simple and satisfying way to maximize your tax benefits. All gifts are invested through the Community Foundation of Lorain County and make a difference, no matter how large or small.
Gifts can be made to any of the following categories: General, Technology, Athletics, Scholarship, and Fine and Performing Arts.
