Yale Elementary Newsletter 3/20/24
from your Elementary School Leader: Rosa Swonger
Message from your School Leader!
Good Day MAS Elementary Families!
We are in our final week of school! Attendance is still crucial, as we want to finish off the year strong! Some incentives for attendance are as follows:
Any classroom with 95% or higher attendance gets popsicles at the end of each day.
Any classroom with 100% attendance earns a dress down day the very next day!
All students in attendance each day earn two tickets for a raffle drawing that will take place on May 24th. You must be present to claim your prize!
Prizes include:
1 bike
Gift cards to the following: Adidas, Buca Di Beppo, Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cinemark Movies
We want to make sure we are stamping with our students that is it always important to finish the race, and that means crossing the finish line, not when we choose to be done. Thank you for your help and support in closing out this school year!
Summer Programs and Information
We have sent several phone blasts with different summer program information, but here is a little recap:
YMCA: Need summer childcare? The YMCA is here for you and will be hosting a FREE* full day camp at BOTH the Yale and Old Coors campus. Please note that while this is being hosted at MAS campuses, this is being fully run and sponsored by the YMCA. Full Day camp is offered from June 3rd- August 7th, 7 am until 6 pm daily. Free breakfast and lunch is provided, weekly field trips and swimming trips, and engaging holistic curriculum. This opportunity is available for current kinder through fifth grade students. Again this is current kinder through fifth grade students or students who are going into first through sixth grade. Please check your email for more information, as we have already sent this information in a phone blast.
Seamless Summer Program: We are excited to introduce the Seamless Summer program to all of you. This initiative aims to provide free grab-and-go lunches for children 18 years of age or under throughout the summer at our campuses. This opportunity is a recent addition to our school, and we are eager to gauge interest among our families. Children participating in the Seamless Summer program do not have to be MAS students nor do they have to be school-aged. Any children 18 years of age or younger may participate. If you would like your child to benefit from this program, please take a moment to fill out the interest form using the link provided below. We kindly request one form per family to help us with our planning.

Again, this is open to any children 18 years of age and under. If you know of any families who would benefit from this program, please pass this information along to them.
Roadrunner Food Pantry: Every 4th Wednesday of the month, we also host a roadrunner food bank at our Yale campus. This is open to BOTH Yale and Old Coors families. Please keep an eye on your email and voicemails to get your notification of the times this is happening, as it will continue throughout the summer.
