Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! On behalf of our entire staff and the Prince George's County Schools System Family, we are excited to welcome our new Ardmore Anchors and our returning kindergarten through fifth-grade students!

While our main focus is on providing quality education, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We look forward to partnering with you to ensure that your child receives a safe and high-quality education. The Ardmore Elementary School staff is energized and ready to welcome back our students. Our dedicated educators will continue to offer opportunities that promote collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth for all our students.

The administrators and staff are thrilled to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year filled with renewed hope. We look forward to meeting new families and reconnecting with familiar ones on Monday, August 26, 2024, as we continue our journey toward academic excellence and strong character for ALL scholars. Dear Ardmore Elementary School Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to inform you that Ardmore Elementary School will be transitioning to a standardized bell time for the upcoming school year. The new school start time will be 7:30 a.m., which is fifteen (15) minutes earlier than our previous schedule.

To accommodate this change, please ensure that all necessary arrangements are made to prepare for the adjustment. Here is the breakdown of the new schedule:

• Teachers' Arrival: 7:00 a.m.
• Teachers' Duty Begins: 7:05 a.m.
• Students' Arrival: 7:10 a.m.
• Students will be considered tardy if they arrive after 7:31 a.m.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this schedule change, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
