We had several students who submitted cover designs for the Donnelly Elementary School 2023-2024 yearbook. Each one was AMAZING, but the students voted and selected the one they believed should be used for the front cover. Congratulations to Miriah Kinnear in 5th grade who won with her design!

We are holding our Winter Festival the afternoon of December 21st. Thanks to our amazing PTO for coordinating with teachers and parents to put this event together.

If you would like to volunteer please email your child's teacher.

Just a reminder that in order to leave the blacktop during recess, students will need 'All 5' (snow pants, snow boots, coat, hat, and gloves).

We also need to consider the possibility for a snow day or a 2-hour delayed start. If either event occurs, you will receive a phone call, text, and / or email. The district attempts to send out notifications no later than 6:30am.

The December Word of the Month is 'compassion.' Compassion is being genuinely concerned for the welfare of others. We can show compassion by helping and listening to each other.

I want to say thank you to the parents / guardians that have attended our first two meetings. I appreciate your feedback and the meaningful conversations. I hope to see everyone at the December and January meetings!
