It's a Done Deal!
WASC ACCREDITATION
NYA is Awarded WASC Accreditation Candidacy Status
I am pleased to inform you that the ACS WASC Accreditation Commissioners have determined New York Academy (PK - 7) meets the ACS WASC Accreditation criteria for candidacy!
This accreditation status is based on all the information provided by the School, including the WASC Initial Visit Report, and the satisfactory completion of the on-site WASC Initial Accreditation Visit last Spring.
It is the decision of the Commission to grant New York Academy (grades Pre-Kindergarten through 7th) Candidacy Status through June 30, 2021.
As Head of School, I am pleased to share this significant accomplishment and look forward to leading New York Academy forward with the WASC Accreditation process from the start of the 2018-19 school year.
COMING TO SCHOOL IN STYLE
We Have New Uniforms for the NYA 2018-19 School Year
That said, the order will not arrive until around mid-August. So, in the meantime, students are encouraged to come to school with their own fashion statement. In fact, we will kick off the school year with a theme of "All About Me." Students and teachers will celebrate what makes each of us unique and special, recognizing the big ideas of respect, tolerance, acceptance, kindness, and caring.
More information regarding uniforms is soon to follow.
