Extended 4th Flexibility: During our Data Leadership Team in December, a suggestion was made to use Extended 4th for a variety of incentives: 95% attendance or higher, LCAP completion, FAFSA completion, to name a few. It is encouraging that our initiative is having such a powerful impact that we can start to use this initiative to support multiple initiatives.
Official MUSD Response to Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE): Please see MUSD's Official Response to Immigration, Customs and Enforcement (ICE), MUSD's Administrative Regulations, and a Link to Resources provided by MUSD. Please use these resources to continue creating a safe, positive learning culture at Schurr and in our community:

- MUSD Administrative Regulation
- LACOE Resources from MUSD's Official Response
Phone Confiscation: Please inform students that we are confiscating phones from students if they are out of class during instructional time using their phones. This will be inclusive of students who are part of a "tardy sweep." Additionally, any student who has an Ed. Code 48900 violation, which requires a suspension, will lose cell phone privileges for a period of time. We will share this information during our Expectations Assemblies this week. Thank you for your support.
