Spring Book Fair
The CFES Enchanted Forest Book Fair opens March 31st and runs to April 4th. As always, all purchases benefit CFES.
The Fair hours are as follows:
Monday through Thursday: 8:10 to 3:40
Friday: 8:10 to 1:00
Our Book Fair offers eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account at our Fair homepage to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select his or her own books. Any unused funds can be spent at The Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping.
I’m excited to see CFES families at the Book Fair! Gretchen Hock (Librarian)
Tomball ISD does not select or endorse book titles advertised in the standard Scholastic book fair flier and/or fair.
4th Grade Girls ONLY and ALL 5th Graders - Human Growth and Development

4th Grade Girls ONLY – Friday, May 2, 2025
All 5th Grade Students – Friday, May 9, 2025
Students will be separated by gender and will watch the video with their teachers. Additionally, our school nurse will be present to provide support and answer any questions.
In order for your child to participate, you must provide permission through the Home Access Center. Please use the following link to access the district letter with detailed instructions on how to grant permission. This link will take you directly to the district webpage with step-by-step directions.
Permission must be submitted by April 25th for both grade levels.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring we have your permission by April 25th. If we do not have permission, your child will not be allowed to view the video on the assigned date.

Watch D.O.G.S. Information
WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative. There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program: 1. To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. 2. To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
Remember to apply every year to volunteer for Watch D.O.G.S. on this link. It may take a couple of weeks to process. You will receive your schedule upon arrival! We ask that dads sign up for one spot per year so all families have the opportunity to participate. Thank you for volunteering!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR WATCH D.O.G.S. UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN CLEARED AFTER FILLING OUT THE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION.
