Scholarship Opportunities
2024-2025
Applying for scholarships and financial aid is an essential part of the college planning process. While many students may receive merit scholarships, all students may receive financial aid based on family income and resources. Seniors and their families should become informed about scholarship opportunities and financial aid (including but not limited to, the process for application at individual colleges and universities).
Tips for Scholarships
- Consult college/university websites for scholarship information…not all scholarships will come through the Scholarship Newsletter.
- Be aware of all deadlines…are they “postmarked” deadlines or “received by” deadlines??
- Additional FREE scholarship searches: www.fastweb.com, www.finaid.org, https://studentscholarships.org/
- Remember to look for scholarships offered at businesses you frequent, employers of parents or relatives, and scholarships exclusive to the college you are wanting to attend.
