A Message from the Principals
Dear Panther Families,
Happy start to the break! As we end 2024, we would like to take an opportunity to share some of our favorite things that we have done with our Panthers this week:
Creating and accomplishing classroom and schoolwide goals
Celebrating our Leaders of the Month at our assembly
Listening to the band and chorus practice in the morning and sharing holiday cheer in our hallways
Watching our older students read aloud to our younger students
Seeing the excited, thinking faces of our students as they are working collaboratively
Hearing about our 5th Gradersβ experiences on the Challenger field trip
Helping our youngest students write parts of their book that they will publish in their classrooms soon!
Making gifts and cookies for others
We hope that you enjoy the time with your family to relax and recharge. Check out some suggestions for fun activities to do at home or out and about over break below!
See you in the new year,
Andrea and Allie

Who to Call With Questions is a Resource for Families
Building trust and ensuring that there are open lines of communication between home and school are essential for student success. We want to be sure you know who to contact with questions or concerns. In December, the district shared a new resource for families. In case you missed it, this linked Who to Call with Questions, Concerns and Compliments reference guide is a step-by-step guide families can use to ensure questions are answered quickly and effectively. Please refer to it whenever you need to speak to someone about your childβs progress. Whether your inquiry is about academics, safety, or services and supports, there are people at the school and district level who are ready to help whenever a question or concern arises.
For Step 1 concerns at Pine Brook, please start with the person closest to the situation. They should be able to help you navigate the situation. If the concern rises to a Step 2, please contact the Assistant Principal. For your convenience there is a list below of contacts at Pine Brook:
