Fundraiser Frozen Food Delivery
Thank you to all of those who participated in our Fall Fundraiser! We have details to share regarding food ordered through the fall fundraiser.
Home Delivery
- For those families who chose to have their order delivered directly to their home: orders should be arriving within the next few weeks. If you receive your order and something is missing, please let us know sooner rather than later so we can make it right.
School Pick-Up
- For those families who chose to have their order delivered to Unami: orders are scheduled for delivery at Unami Tuesday, October 29th.
- Depending on the amount of food ordered, students will have two options…
- (SMALLER ORDERS)
- Students will be able to pick up the food at the end of the school day and take it home with them.
- Please keep in mind that some food is frozen and should be placed in the freezer when arriving home. Please review this with your son/daughter if they choose to bring the food home from school. We cannot replace orders because of mishandling by students/parents.
- Students participating in after school activities should avoid taking frozen food with them to practice, as it may defrost & we cannot replace orders because of extended time outside of a freezer.
- (LARGER ORDERS)
- Some orders will simply be too much for students to take home with them on the bus at the end of the day.
- Unami will be open from 2:45pm-4:45pm on Tuesday, October 29th for families to stop by and pick-up their order.
- Orders will be organized by last name in the hallway in front of the auditorium.

Unami Winter Sports
Unami girls’ basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, 11/11 from 2:40-4:30. Participants must be registered and approved on Bigteams to tryout. Please contact Brian Leible bleible@cbsd.org for more information.
Unami wrestling will begin on 11/18. Participants must be registered and approved on Bigteams. Please contact Dan McAuley dmcauley@cbsd.org for more information.
Attention 9th Grade Students and Parents
Please mark your calendars for the MBIT Open House, to be held at MBIT on Thursday, November 21st at 6 pm. This is your opportunity to explore the facility, meet instructors, speak with current students, and learn about the Programs and career opportunities available for students entering 10th grade in SY 25-26!
Other Important MBIT Dates and Information
- MBIT Student Application – goes live on Friday, November 1st. A link to the application will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
- MBIT Assembly – Wednesday, November 13th for all 9th grade students during I&E
- MBIT Field Trip – Tuesday, December 10th from 7:30 am – 10:30 am
- Student Services will provide Permission forms to interested students starting November 13th
Flexible Instructional Days
A Flexible Instructional Day (FID) is designed for situations where school buildings need to close due to weather or other emergencies, but learning can still continue at home. CBSD will not use a FID until after the first day schools are closed due to weather or another emergency. We will only use the FID plan if the entire district is closed, not for closures affecting just one school. Attendance Reminders
Attendance Notifications
All parents/guardians of students with a reported absence will still receive a daily message around 11 a.m. notifying them that their child has been marked out of school. If you have already notified attendance via the Portal, you do not need to do anything else unless you feel the mark is in error. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Yearbook Pre-Order
Hello Unami Warriors! Yearbook time has officially come around!! If you want to place an order for your child's 2024-2025 yearbook, please fill out the form or scan the QR Code of the attached flyer. Cost through October 25 is $42. After October 25, price goes up to $45 until the sale closes on June 1.

If your child feels unwell while at school
Please be aware that the nurse will not have your student use their cellphone to text/call a parent and any request that comes directly from your child to leave sick, has not been authorized by the school nurse; which can lead to unexcused attendance marks and cell phone policy violations.
Replacement Laptop Accessories
1. Log into MyPaymentsPlus and purchase the item
2. Have your student put in a help ticket stating that a charger and/or pen has been purchased for them.
3. Our tech will get the item to them.
4. In the event that your student cannot enter a ticket, they will need to bring either a hard copy or screen shot of your receipt to the main office to receive their item.
