Happy National Principals Month!
We are very thankful for our very own Principal Lindsay Lennon!
This October, take a moment to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and passion that these amazing individuals bring to their roles. From fostering a positive school culture to supporting teachers and students alike, principals play a vital role in shaping our educational experiences.
Here’s to all the principals out there—thank you for your leadership, your vision, and for making our schools a better place!
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Ms. Gabrielle Gombos, our TOMS Staff Member of the Week!
Ms. Gombos is an 8th Grade ELA Teacher at TOMS and this is her second year here.
My favorite memory of middle school was when one of my teachers snuck into my chorus class to watch me sing my 8th grade solo. I really appreciated the support!
My advice to my middle school self would be... Your teachers aren't trying to be mean. They are holding high expectations. If you continuously meet those expectations, you will find success...and nothing less!
Today students who met TOMS Quarter 1 iReady goal received their full sized candy bar during lunch! We are so proud of their hard work!
Today our Instructional Coach Stephanie Walters and Principal Lindsay Lennon met with Teacher Cadets from Carolina Forest High School.
The Cadets came to to tour our school and speak with our Middle School Teachers. It gave them an opportunity to hear why our some of our staff chose to teach at the middle school level, and to encourage them to find their calling as a future teacher.
In a few weeks these same students will have the opportunity to do a three week internship at the school level of their choice! We hope to see some of them back at Ten Oaks!
PLEASE JOIN US TO HONOR OUR VETERANS ON 11/11/24!
