I hope you enjoyed a restful and enjoyable long weekend. I'm excited to invite you to our Back to School Night on Thursday, September 5th, from 6:00 - 8:00. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with teachers, explore our classrooms, and learn more about the opportunities your students have for the school year. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing this special day with our school community!

Only the main office will change how a student gets home. For any dismissal changes, please get in touch with the main office at 610-383-3775.

Back to School Night Schedule

• 6:00 - 6:20 Arrival/ Meet & Greet
• 6:25 - 6:55 - Session 1
• 7:00 - 7:30 - Session 2
• 7:35 - 8:00 Session 3

Families with multiple students will have the opportunity to visit two classrooms.

Kings Highway Elementary School is a Title I school, and as the parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of the Title I team. Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the parental involvement program and activities in our school. The survey is confidential and will be used to assist us with future planning for parental involvement activities and events at school. We appreciate your feedback!

CASD will continue to use the Bus Status app for school bus-related notifications. Families can download the app and set up notifications for their student's bus. How to Install:

1. Open App Store and search Bus Status the app is by Box Clever
2. Download
3. Select Coatesville Area School District
4. Go to the All Buses tab (bottom center)
5. Use the star icon to favorite a bus
6. Tap the bell icon to see general notifications

ALL King's Highway students will receive an ORANGE car rider card for use during student pick-up. Drivers must have the orange card to present to staff for pick up. Students will receive their cards on the first day of school. Each card can be cut in half to make two.

Families/Drivers, we need your help to keep the car rider line moving smoothly. Our AMAZING team of teachers does a great job, but we cannot do it without you! Please remain in vehicles when in the line. Should you need to get out, we ask that you pull out of the queue so we can keep the line moving.
