The Board of Education provides a "Board Meeting Summary" after each Board meeting. The summary includes a brief description of the main topics and action items. These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. Student Attribute - A Sense of Belonging: Churchill | watch
Churchill School Principal Amanda Kanter and Assistant Principal Tim Shermack presented about belonging at Churchill. They showcased videos of happenings at Churchill and highlighted programs that encourage belonging and collaboration throughout the school and community.

Superintendent’s Report | watch

Dr. Kaczkowski presented an update on mental health support and planning for next year. This year federal grant funding was available to provide additional mental health resources outside of the school day for families. The funding will end in the fall and the district is exploring other sources of funding.

Dr. Kaczkowski explained that the revisions are recommended by PRESS and many of the changes were recent legislature related.

Technology: IXL Resource Purchase | watch
Director of Technology and Innovation Andrew Peterman presented a request to purchase the IXL resource at Hadley.

Supplemental Pay Recommendation | watch
Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Dr. David Bruno shared that the supplemental pay committee met and the current clubs will remain the same for next year as well as adding four at the elementary school level.
