VCHS NEWSLETTER #7 November 15, 2024
Message from the Principal
Hello Viper Family,
With Thanksgiving break just around the corner, we want to wish everyone a safe, restful holiday! As we enjoy this time with family and friends, let’s also remember to stay focused on finishing the semester strong. Here are some tips to help keep up the momentum:
1. Stay Organized and On Top of Deadlines
- Take a moment to review your assignments and make a list of any upcoming due dates. Keeping track now will help you return from break ready to tackle the final stretch.
2. Keep Up with Study Habits
- Use a little time over break to review key notes or catch up on any missed work. Even a quick 20-30 minutes a day can help keep material fresh and reduce stress when you get back.
3. Check Your Grades in Infinite Campus
- Make sure you’re aware of your current grades and reach out to teachers if you need extra support. Remember, tutoring is available, and teachers are here to help!
4. Set Goals for the Remainder of the Semester
- Think about what you want to accomplish before the semester ends, whether it’s boosting a grade, staying organized, or preparing for exams. Setting a goal can keep you motivated!
5. Take Time to Recharge
- Enjoy your break! Resting and recharging are just as important as studying. Come back ready to give your best for the final weeks of the semester.
Let’s make the most of this time and come back focused, energized, and ready to finish strong. We’re proud of each of you and the effort you’ve shown this semester. Let’s keep up the hard work and end on a high note!
Happy Thanksgiving, Viper Family!

Her journey in education has been one of passion, growth, and dedication—both in the classroom and in the broader context of societal well-being.
Mrs. Fenteng's educational background is impressive. She graduated from the University of Education in Winneba, Ghana, earning a Bachelor of Education degree in Social Studies. Hannah’s journey reflects her dedication not just to teaching, but to leadership and mentoring the next generation of educators and students alike.
In 2021, Mrs. Fenteng's and her family relocated to North Carolina, where she took a brief hiatus from her teaching career to focus on being a nursing mother.
