Superintendent's Report
- Dr. Hart and Mr. Bohm presented an update on the summer capital projects. Please click here to view.

Administrative Reports
- Three HIB reports and the Superintendent's decision was accepted and affirmed.
Finance/Facilities
- The bus routes for the 2024-2025 school year were approved.
- The shared services agreement with HTSD Communications Consortium for the 2024-2025 school year was approved.
- The board approved the district authorizing Settembrino Architects to prepare plans for a capital improvement project to the NJ DOE for review and approval. The board approved the district seeking grant funding from the Universal Preschool Facilities Expansion Grant for this project. In addition the board approved the amendment to the district's Longe Range Facility Plan.
Education/Technology
- Divonna Stebick, inquiry consultant, was approved to provide professional development and a keynote speech during the 2024-2025 school year.
- A student placement at Whitehouse School was approved.
- A contract for Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired for the 2024-2025 school year was approved.
- Out of district contracts for student placement were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Field trips were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- HSA fundraisers were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- The Marshall Evaluation Rubric dated 2013 to be used for Principal, Assistant Principal, and Supervisor evaluations and the Danielson Evaluation Rubric dated 2013 to be used for Teacher, Nurse, Counselor, and other certified staff evaluations during the 2024-2025 school year were adopted.
- Curricula for the 2024-2025 school year was accepted and adopted.
Personnel
- Substitute teacher placements were approved.
- The following appointments were ratified and approved: Lauren Suriano/WHS-Preschool Teacher, Kristy Lowrie/TBS-Clerical Aide, Taylor Vidak/WHS-SE Teacher, and Jeanne Dombrowski/TBS-Paraprofessional.
- The following appointments were approved: Natacha Gandarez/TBS-Paraprofessional, Maria Petty/Transportation-Bus Driver, Abigail Whalen/RMS-SE Teacher, Phoebe Stedman/RMS-LTS SE Teacher, and Krista Pachuta/TBS-Paraprofessional - HBS-LTS SE Teacher.
- The following resignations were approved: Jennifer Heppner/WHS-Paraprofessional, Vanessa Caliciotti/TBS-Clerical Aide, Bonnie Farber/WHS-Paraprofessional, and Elizabeth Duque/Transportation-Bus Driver.
- Teachers were approved to provide translations as needed for the 2024-2025 school year.
- The following appointment was ratified and approved: Stephanie Armstrong/School Nurse - Summer 2024 Spark Program.
- Teacher stipends were approved for attending 2024 Summer Teacher Academy sessions.
- Teachers were approved for curriculum writing/development of a paraprofessional handbook.
- Stipends were approved for all staff facilitating sessions on the September 3-4, 2024 In-Service Days.
- Paraprofessional hours were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Bus Driver and Cafeteria Aide hours were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- All staff were approved as substitutes for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional Recruitment Stipends for the 2024-2025 school year were approved.
- Transportation Services Stipends were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Thank you and recognition stipends were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- The following job description was approved: Nurse.
- The following bus aide appointments were approved: Maryann Schultz, Susan Zimmerman, and Natacha Gandarez.
- Mentors were approved for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Other leave of absence for a staff member was approved.
- Officials Rate for the 2024-2025 school year for RMS Athletics was approved.
- The following appointment was ratified and approved: Amie Walsh/Teacher-ESY Program.
Communications
- Two policies were approved for second reading.
- One bylaw and three policies were approved for first reading.
