Are you interested in the dentistry field and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? If so, a career as a Dental Assistant could be perfect for you. Our Butte County CTE Dental Assistant Apprenticeship Program offers comprehensive training at NO COST to the Apprentice, allowing you to earn while you learn. This program includes 160 hours of in-class technical instruction and 2000 hours of on-the-job training, with credit given for prior experience and demonstrated skills. Upon completion, you will be prepared to sit for the CA state board exam to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

The program, which can be completed in less than a year, combines paid industry employment with guaranteed wage increases as you develop new skills. Our eight-week academy provides students with the opportunity to learn basic welding skills while preparing for welding-related employment. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with hands-on application.

In the last four weeks of class, students will have the opportunity to gain real-world, on-the-job training through participation in our “Community Classroom.” This unpaid learning experience prepares students for a successful transition into the workplace.
