Message From the Principal
Please work with your child to help them stay organized, have them clean out their backpacks over the long weekend so they are ready to start the 2nd 9 weeks strong.
As always grade reports are ran on Thursday mornings to see which students have Fs in their classes, students with two or more Fs will be on probation if it is their first time ever having 2 or more Fs or they will become ineligible. If a student is ineligible they are not able to attend any practices, sporting events or school activities, this does include high school games, if a middle school student is ineligible they can not attend High School games.
Students do have the opportunity to attend ASAP however it is important that they show up to ASAP on time which is held in Mrs. Kahler's room from 3:30-4:30pm. Students who are attending ASAP need to have their materials with them, and be ready and willing to work. If they are not willing to do what they need to do they will not be allowed to stay.

I would like to invite you to meet with me during conference times this week. While I don’t have a sign-up sheet, I will be available at school during conferences. If you’d like to schedule a specific time, please feel free to reach out to me via email at payton.andrews@usd340.org.
At JWMS, we place significant emphasis on the development of both individual and collective character within our community. As part of this commitment, we are excited to participate in the CharacterDare challenge. The CharacterDare is like a workout for our hearts and enables us to actively practice and enhance skills such as kindness, patience, and respect.
Our CharacterDare this week encourages students to take a “tech timeout” and pick a specific day this week to focus on being completely present with those around them.
We would also like to extend an invitation to all families to join us in taking up these challenges whenever possible. We are excited to discover the positive impact that these shared challenges can have on our students, families, and community
