CJH Weekly Update
Staff - Week of November 4th
Need to Know
This is another week that I am scheduled to be out of the building several days. The good news is that this will be the last week with multiple days. Wendy G will be around as well as Celeste to handle any issues.
Please make sure that grades are submitted first thing Monday morning. The office needs time to run report cards and prepare packets for Parent Teacher Conferences
Homeroom
Please take 15 minutes of Homeroom on Monday to administer the following surveys. It is important that we receive as much feedback as possible.
I have scheduled an e-mail to go out to all students just prior to RTI on Monday, it should be available in their e-mail when they arrive to your classrooms.

Parent Teacher Conferences
P/T Conferences are scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7 from 4pm - 7pm. We will be providing pizza for dinner on Wednesday and we will eat family style in the library. Just bring your own drink and spend a few minutes relaxing before we return to work.
Following conferences on Thursday, anyone that is interested, we will be meeting up at Blackbird Waterhouse (4896 Paw Paw Lake Rd.)
Parents will be receiving 1st MP report cards, Family Report from NWEA, M-Step Scores, Parent Portal Instructions and a flyer for the Parent Tech Meeting.
The Tech Department will be running 2 sessions per night to assist parents with all things technology for our building. This will include how to use the Parent Portal, Big Ideas Math, Google Classroom and more. The goal of these sessions is to reduce the amount of time that you need to spend teaching these programs to parents during conferences, so please refer them to the Tech sessions. The sessions will start at 5pm and 6pm both nights.
PLC Time
On Nov. 6th - Math Department will meet in Room 32 (Churchill). Everyone else is welcome to continue their work on curriculum maps, learning targets and common assessments in Room 24. I am scheduled to be out of the district so I will make sure that another administrator is available to collect the sign in sheets.
