Pirate Choir Newsletter

Our Broadway themed Dinner Show is on Thursday, October 24th at 7 PM in the Wylie HS Cafeteria. This is a fantastic fundraiser featuring auditioned soloists and our Pirate Choirs! A pasta dinner with vegetarian options will be served to ticketed guests while students perform musical selections from Broadway and live musicals. Tickets are $30 and tickets sales are live now! Guests may begin arriving at 6:30 PM to start dinner and the show will begin at 7 PM.

All choir students will attend this event for a major grade and will wear blue jeans (no rips/tears), sneakers, and their choir t-shirt. Students will arrive at 6:30 PM for their call time. Students should plan to eat dinner prior to the event as dinner is provided only for ticketed guests. Students singing a solo or duet must arrive in the cafeteria by 4:30 pm for a sound check.

We are so proud of all the amazing 47 students who auditioned for Region and want to congratulate the 34 students that made a Region Choir! We are also so excited for the 15 WHS Pirate Choir singers who are advancing on to Pre-Area Auditions on November 19th at Plano Senior HS! AHMO!

Students who made a Region choir, please mark you calendars for the required Region rehearsal on October 29th from 5:30-8:30 pm at Wylie East HS. All students who made a Region choir are required to attend this rehearsal. Students must also be available for the all day Region Clinic and Concert on November 2nd at Allen High School. Please do NOT sign up for the SAT on November 2nd as this would conflict with your required attendance at All Region Clinic and Concert.

Please add these dates to your family/work calendar, as we work very hard to give the dates to you as soon as possible. Major grade events are highlighted in green. Please do not schedule conflicts on major grade event days.
