Birthday Treat Reminders
Snacks may be sent in for celebrations, but must be prepackaged and have a label. The cafeteria offers a Celebration Basket to help celebrate your student’s special day. Please click the link to order a basket for your student’s classroom. Refrain from distributing gift baggies or multiple treats, a small treat is treat enough! If you plan to bring or send in a birthday treat, please make your teacher aware so they can be prepared to check for our students with allergies.
KTES Toppers Pizza Reading Incentive Program
Toppers Pizza and KTES have teamed up and are excited to announce a special reading incentive for our students! Here’s how it works:
- Kindergarten and First Grade Students Read 100 Books. Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade Students Read 1000 Minutes: Your child can read books out loud to you or independently. You can also read books to your child or read the books together. All books read at home count!
- Complete the Reading Log: A reading log will be sent home with all KTES students this week. Please keep track of each book read on the reading log provided. If you read the same book over multiple days or times, you can simply draw an arrow or use ditto marks.
- Return the Reading Log: Send the completed reading log back to KTES in your child's Take Home Folder anytime before December 6, 2024.
- Receive Your Reward: As a thank you for your hard work and dedication to reading, your child will receive a voucher for a small pizza or a single order of Topperstix from Toppers Pizza in Fort Mill or Tega Cay.
We hope this optional incentive will inspire a love for reading and make it even more enjoyable for all KTES students! Happy reading!
