Your PTG Auction Gala tickets are now available in the office for your to pick up whenever you're ready.

We are currently accepting gift certificates, merchandise, services, experiences and donations to raffle and auction off at our event. Our past auction events have always had amazing items, and we are on our way to providing our guests with that same experience. The unique thing about this year's event is that, the silent auction will be on a mobile bidding platform and any guest in attendance, or at home will be able to participate. [Many grandparents who are babysitting that night are excited about this feature]. To help us gather gift baskets and other items for this event, you can drop off our auction letter (attached) to friends and businesses who may be interested. Individuals can also donate by visiting our website and filling out the info at https://one.bidpal.net/sasauctiongala/donate-item We have a goal of collecting all items by March 10th so we can get all items photographed for our website and organized in our program. The success of this event is not possible without the support of our whole school and parish.

Students have been getting lax with dress code. Please remember:

• CYO and Science Camp hoodies are only to be worn the last Friday of the month for Spirit Days unless told otherwise.
• NO hoodies are to be worn to Mass.
• All red hoodies are to have the school logo on them.
• Ties are part of the Mass attire and must be worn to Mass.
• White collared dress shirts are to be worn to Mass.
• Shirts are to be tucked in.
• Shoes are to be in school colors.
• Skirts/Skorts are to be no less than two inches above the knee.
• Bicycle shorts are to be worn under skirts.
• Leggings and Leg Warmers are not part of the school uniform.
• Socks shall be without logos.
• All hair should be out of the students' eyes.
• Make up, fake nails and nail polish are not allowed.

We are in need of volunteers to help with the drop off lines in the morning from 7:50 - 8:10. Please let Kelly Holdren in the front office know if you are able to help - one day a week, two days, every day. Thank you.

The See's Candy Fundraiser sheets went out on Thursday. You can raise money for your class or individually for Science Camp or Washington DC (4th - 8th grades) just indicate it on your sheet when you turn it in. All money is due by March 16 and candy will be distributed the week before Easter. Thank you for supporting St. Anthony's students!

Students will be receiving their ROCK Awards and Honor Roll Awards on Monday, March 6th. Parents will receive an email if students are getting a ROCK Award, however parents should look at FACTS to see if students will receive an honor roll award. As a reminder, only students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades who receive a 4.0 on trimester report cards will receive an honor roll award.

This week is the school's week to make soup for the Lenten Soup Supper. Make a pot (or two) and/or come volunteer to serve supper to others. Students can get Christian Service Hours for helping to clean up. Sign ups for volunteers and students is in the school office.

Monday March 13 there will be no school. Enjoy your 3 day weekend!

DECREE OF DISPENSATION FOR THE COMMEMORATION OF SAINT PATRICK

The Catholic Christian Faithful over fourteen years of age are obliged to observe abstinence from meat on each Friday of Lent (see canons 1250–1252). Inasmuch as the Commemoration of Saint Patrick falls on a Friday in Lent this year and the Diocesan Bishop is competent to dispense or commute from universal and particular disciplinary laws (see c. 87 §1), I hereby dispense Catholics residing or present in the Diocese of Stockton from the observance of abstinence from meat on Friday, March 17, 2023.

Furthermore, those who wish to make use of this dispensation are encouraged to observe this penitential day in at least one of the following ways: participation at the celebration of the Eucharist; participation in the devotion of the Stations of the Cross; or praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

Given this first day of March, two thousand twenty-three in the Diocese of Stockton.

The Knights are holding their Annual Lenten Fish Fry on March 24th from 4:30 to 7:00 PM in the cafeteria. The price is $20 per dinner and you may either "eat in" or "take out".

This is your last chance to order Yearbooks. All orders must be placed by March 31. You can order in the office or online at www.yearbookordercenter.com and use order number 17565. We are not anticipating ordering extra yearbooks, so place your orders ASAP.

Priority Registration is now open for Kindergarten through 8th grades.

• Why register so early for next year? The end of the school year comes up fast. We will need to begin budgeting, purchasing curriculum and figuring out staffing for next year very soon. Without early knowledge, it makes it impossible to do the "business of the school".
• Why is priority registration so long? So families with multiple students can spread out their enrollment fees. In fact we encourage this.
• Can I still register after March 31? Of course you are able to register after March 31. However keep in mind that you may have forfeited your spot in the class by waiting. You will also be assessed a late fee.
• What if I am not able to pay the registration fee by March 31? Let Kelly Meyer know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can assist you with the many tools we have at our disposal. The longer you wait, the less tools we are able to help you with.

Vendors needed for St. Anthony’s Spring Vendor Fest on Sunday April 23rd from 9am to 3pm. We have decided to move this event to a Sunday to a line with our church daily services and allow for more vendors and community participation. Registration and payment is easy, a google form has been created to register and then all payments can be made via the link provided at the end.
