Important Information for the Week
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have an exciting and busy week ahead, and we want to keep you informed of the upcoming activities and events:
🌟 STAAR Jr. for Kinder to 2nd Grade – Our younger students will participate in STAAR Jr. activities this week. This is a fun and engaging way to practice testing strategies and build confidence for the future.
💙 Nurses' Day – Wednesday, May 7th – Help us celebrate our amazing school nurse! Feel free to send a card, drawing, or kind word of appreciation.
📚 Last Day for AR (Accelerated Reader) – Friday, May 9th – Encourage your child to finish their AR goals and enjoy those last reading points!
🌷 Mother’s Day Celebration – Friday, May 9th – We will honor our wonderful mothers and mother figures with a special celebration.
🏫Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week - Monday, May 5th-Friday, May 9th - Let's celebrate our amazing staff for everything they do for our students.
As we enter the final month of school, please remind your child to continue making good choices, being kind, and following school expectations while enjoying all the fun that comes with the end of the year.

📚 Último día para AR (Lectura Acelerada) – Viernes 9 de mayo – Motiven a sus hijos a completar sus metas de lectura y aprovechar esos últimos puntos.
🌷 Celebración del Día de las Madres – Viernes 9 de mayo – Honraremos a nuestras maravillosas madres y figuras maternas con una celebración especial. El maestro(a) de su hijo(a) enviará más detalles.
🏫Semana de Agradecimiento a Maestros y Personal — del lunes 5 de mayo al viernes 9 de mayo — Vamos a celebrar a nuestro increíble personal por todo lo que hacen por nuestros estudiantes.
Al entrar en el último mes de clases, les pedimos que recuerden a sus hijos la importancia de seguir teniendo buen comportamiento, ser amables y cumplir con las expectativas escolares, mientras disfrutan de este cierre de año.

Bus Behavior Expectations
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We kindly ask for your support in reminding your child about the importance of following proper behavior expectations while riding the school bus. For everyone’s safety and comfort, please take a moment to speak with your child about the following:
🚌 Keeping hands and feet to themselves
🪑 Staying seated at all times while the bus is in motion
🗣️ Using respectful and appropriate language
These simple expectations help ensure that all students arrive to and from school safely and respectfully. Thank you for helping us reinforce these expectations at home!

Les pedimos su apoyo para recordarles a sus hijos la importancia de seguir las expectativas de comportamiento mientras viajan en el autobús escolar. Para la seguridad y el bienestar de todos, por favor tómense un momento para hablar con sus hijos sobre lo siguiente:
