📊Dane County Youth Assessment
Every three years, Dane County youth in grades 7 through 12 complete a survey that captures their opinions, concerns, behaviors, attitudes, and experiences on a range of topics. The DCYA provides educators, policy-makers, and funding bodies data to inform grant writing, program development, and public policy. The survey has been administered since 1980 and includes topics related to health and nutrition, alcohol and other drug use, emotional and mental health, sexual activity and knowledge, bullying experience, out-of-school time activities, employment, and many other risk and positive behaviors engaged in by youth in the Dane County community.
All high schoolers will be taking the survey during Advisory time on Wednesday, February 21st.
Parents may review the 2024 survey in a hard copy form at the District Office, 5101 Farwell Street. Please contact Sandra Young located at at youngs@mcfsd.org or (608) 838-4512 to set up an appointment.
Participation is voluntary. The participation of every student is greatly appreciated. Responses are anonymous and confidential. However, if you prefer that your student not participate, you may opt them out of participating by completing this google form. Please provide opt out notification by January 12, 2024.
