This morning our Legal School community gathered for our opening liturgy celebration led by Father Ambrose. Thank you for encouraging us to be grateful for another brand new year and grow in our academics, faith and love. He also reminded us that Our God is an Awesome God and that we are beautifully made! This year's school theme song is A Little Love, and the hearts symbolize how we can grow in love by showing love in all these ways!

In September, we look at ways we can support one another for World Suicide Prevention Day. This year’s theme is Creating Hope Through Action. Let’s inspire confidence in each other and let the light in all of us shine brightly. Reach out, ask for help, check in with those you love, and be there for one another.

Volleyball season began with Senior teams playing at Gibbons for Thrilling Thursday, which is the kick-off to the regular games during the season. Next Thursday, both Junior and Senior teams will have their first HOME game against Sturgeon Heights.

Thank you to our coaches: Mr. Kary, Mr. Runco, Mrs. & Mr. Csizmadia, and Mme. Gialet for their time and effort in getting the teams ready for the season; best of luck, Titans!

Welcome to another year of sacramental preparation for the children in our church community. . Please mark your calendars with the following dates and continue to watch the bulletin for further details.

Sacramental prep dates for St. Emile Parish:

Confirmation: Classes start October 19. Confirmation on November 30 at 6:30 at St. Emile

Reconciliation: No reconciliation classes this year,

First Eucharist: Classes start April 4. First Eucharist mass on Sunday, April 28 at 9:30 at St. Emile.

Thank you to our amazing parents who support our school community. The School Council had their annual organizational meeting last night. We welcomed many new faces to the School Council meeting last night thank you for coming out!

Welcome to 2023-24. The School Council Chair is Christie Remillard, and the Vice Chair Joanne Good. Thank you to Ashley Zilinski for stepping in as Secretary again this year.

We especially thank Rhea Jussen (outgoing School Council Chair) for her dedication and commitment to our school for the past two years; you will be missed!

Friends of Legal School Society (FOLSS) also held their AGM, voting in Lisa Mudryk as Chair and planning all the upcoming fundraising events for the year.

As of next week, all families can now view and pay their 2023/2024 school fees through the Parent Portal.

The School Fees for the 2023-24 school year are now posted to PowerSchool. Parents, you need to sign into your parent portal account on PowerSchool to see and pay for the school fees by October 27th.
