The Viking Culture this year is to "Win the Day". We challenge all students and staff to pick 1 goal each day to accomplish. When you have succeeded with that 1 goal, you have "Won the Day!"

Here are a few ways to "Win the Day"

• "Flip the Script" on struggles/challenges and make them successes!
• Follow "Kaizen" - strive for continuous improvement each day!
• "Be Kind" - smile, say hello, look out for your fellow vikings! Remember - everyone is going through a battle we may not know.. Be Kind Always!

Parent Workshop - Gratitude is Attitude

Thanks to our parents who attended! We enjoyed great company, pizza and dessert, and prizes!

Leadership lunch time games and Library Fun!

This Thursday is Leap Day, adding 1 extra day to the calendar, which happens every 4 years (approximately 😊)

Activities will take place to celebrate Leap Day; Homeroom Kahoot on Leap Day Facts.. Lunch time contest - how far can you Leap?

This is also a great time to reflect and goal set!

• Reflect on where you were 4 years ago (8th graders were in 4th grade, 7th graders in 3rd grade); have you changed in those 4 years? do you still have the same likes?
• Goal Set on where you want to be in 4 years (8th graders in 12th grade, 7th graders in 11th grade); What do you hope for yourself, where do you want to be and doing?

Challenge: Write a reflection/goal setting paper on the above questions. Turn into CV's google classroom and be entered to earn a Free Dress Day! All submissions are due by February 29th at 11:59 pm.

Tuesday March 5th is the last day of Trimester 2. Students are dismissed at 12:25 (no lunch served)

On Tuesday, March 5th @6:30 pm, Villa Park High School will host an incoming freshman parent night!

The Cerro Villa Parent Faculty Student Organization (PFSO) is a non-profit organization that assists the faculty and staff in enhancing the education experiences of our children.

​The PFSO assists with many programs around the school, including dances, Student of the Month, Honor Society, and the 8th Grade Promotion Party. Without your support, these events would not be possible. Most importantly, the PFSO also supports the faculty and staff at Cerro Villa in acquiring items they need for their classrooms in order to enhance our children’s educational experiences.
