St. Louis County Library's Winter Reading Challenge
The colder weather means many things, but, at the ECE Center, one thing it means is that the St. Louis County Library's Winter Reading Challenge is back! Each winter, our school participates in the reading challenge and you can also participate at home. You can sign up in three ways:
Go to your local St. Louis County Library branch to pick up a reading log
Download a log from our website
Sign up online at slcl.beanstack.org to log activities.
When you have completed the challenge, you can head to your local branch and enter a raffle for a chance to win fun prizes!
HAPPY READING!

Amazon Wishlists are Updated
The LECE PTO has requested that the teachers update their classroom wishlist to reflect items that are needed for the classroom winter parties in a couple of weeks. Please follow this link to shop the Classroom Wish Lists through a list posted on PT Board. We also sent an email out with the individual links, and they will stay accessible on PT Board all year long. Thank you!
*****************************************************************
All items will be delivered directly to ECE or ECE West and taken to your child's classroom. It is very helpful if you can note which room is the recipient on a gift receipt!
Email the Board at lindberghecepto@gmail.com if you have any questions!
Staff Favorite Things List
We've created a "Staff Favorites" list to help guide families who may be interested in purchasing a gift for their child's teacher or staff in the building. This list includes some of our staffs' favorite things. Please note that it is entirely optional to use. It’s just a fun way to offer some ideas if you're looking for inspiration.
Staff Shoutout Form
ECE is fortunate to have an incredible staff. To express our gratitude, we're creating a space for you to give personal shoutouts to the staff in the building that you want to recognize.
How it works:
- Fill out the provided form.
- We'll add your message to our weekly staff Smore and post it outside of their classroom.
Let's celebrate and uplift our staff!

Lindbergh Schools Board of Education Candidate Filing
Filing for the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education Election will open on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at 8 a.m. and close on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. Two positions are available for three-year terms. The election date is April 8, 2025.
Lindbergh Lights the Way Annual Giving Tree Program
The Giving Tree program brings joy to children and families in need by providing toys, gifts, and essentials during the holiday season. Each year, with the support of our generous community, we brighten the lives of 60-65 families. By partnering with us, you can make a direct and meaningful impact—turning wishes into reality and creating cherished memories for those who need it most.
Give the Gift of Warmth to Lindbergh Families
This holiday season, your donation to Lindbergh Lights Up The Holidays will help families in need keep their homes warm and safe. We assist with essential utility bills—like electric, gas, and water—for families facing critical hardships. While our drive happens during the holidays, your support provides relief all year long.
