Welcome to our weekly newsletter for of the 2024/2025 school year. We will send this out every week to keep you posted about all the things happening at the Coatesville Cyber Academy this year.

Please make sure to read the whole newsletter each week, as always add new info.

Message from the Frog Pond

I wanted to share a little personal note in this newsletter.

I am starting my new graduate class this week. Just like all of you, I have readings that need to be read, discussions with classmates need to be engaged, quizzes need to be taken, and papers need to be written. The class is on leadership. My goal is to grow as a teacher and leader.

As we enter the second half of the first semester, think about how you can use your courses to help you grow as a student and person. Find something to work on with a teacher, question what your courses and research tell you, and think critically about the questions you are answering.

The trick is to manage your time properly. Family time and time with loved ones should always be a priority. Time to veg out is also important! My advice, schedule all of this around the hours you should be spending on your studies every day. You have the freedom and flexibility to make these decisions for yourselves, take advantage of it!

Cyber Bucks at the Drop-In Center

If you come into the Drop-In Center, you can participate in our Cyber Bucks Program, where students earn tickets and get snacks and prizes.

Students get tickets by doing their work, helping others, and being good members of our school community!

Reminders

Please DO NOT USE THE ACCELERATE MESSAGE CENTER to contact teachers. Use OUTLOOK email only. If you need help accessing this, please contact your mentor teacher.

Daily attendance is achieved by logging into Accelerate and submitting assignments.

If you are going to be absent, please email your mentor teacher and add shumates@casdschools.org as well. Please use the same process for excuse notes.

Lexi M. - 11th Grade

Lexi is a wonderful student who has truly learned to balance her classes at TCHS and the Cyber Academy with ease. She comes into the drop in center often and has found that working with teachers is a great way to stay on top of work and get the help she needs. We are so proud of you, Lexi! 2024-2025 Senior Announcements

Cap and Gown Orders - GET YOURS IN ASAP!!

If you already paid for your cap and gown - thank you! If you have not, cap and gown orders are now PAST DUE and seniors who plan to participate in graduation must make payment ASAP.

***IMPORTANT - Cap and Gowns are currently priced at $24 - to avoid any late fees and/or restrictions students should pay through the link below. Cash payments can also be made to Ms. Mobley in the CASH main office.
