This Is How We Lakeview
July 2023 Edition: Volume 4
Latest Updates
Our final opportunity for parent-teacher conferences this fall is Monday, October 14th. If you would like to reserve a conference time slot, please reach out to any of your child's core (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) teachers and they will set up a time for you and set up a Google Meet link.
A reminder of our updated student expectations for athletic events: All students must show a valid school ID along with their ticket to enter the game. All K-8 students must be with a supervising parent/guardian (and stay with that parent/guardian) to enter varsity football games.
Congratulations to our students who earned our Stay in the Game incentive for perfect attendance in September. For those students who qualified and filled out the form, you can pick up your ticket for tonight's Homecoming game at the Stay in the Game table, located near the main stadium entrance.
Finally, our Student Spotlight section (found in the Community Corner) has been bare this year. We would love to highlight some of our students for the awesome, cool things they are a part of outside of school. If you want to give your child a special shoutout, please fill out our Lakeview Family Feedback form and fill in the information in the Student Spotlight section.

Check out our photos from this Mr. Petrie's Social Studies class, Mr. George's Social Studies class, and our 8th-grade cheerleaders during the Lakeview vs. Ridgeview football game. Students in Mr. Petrie's class were working together to create their own Greek city state, while Mr. George's class was working through a CLUE-inspired activity about the Boston Massacre, created by Mrs. Smith, our Media Specialist, and Mr. George.
Additionally, Mrs. Broz-England's Visual Art students have been hard at work creating torn paper landscapes. Please enjoy the presentation below that highlights some artwork from our students.
