Math Night was a such success!!! Thank you to everyone that came out for our Family Math Night! It was so great to see so many students and families come out to play math games and enjoy a small snack.

Your opinion matters very much! Our 5Essentials Survey is out and waiting to be completed by you. The survey will help to guide our ongoing efforts to improve our schools and to offer our students an excellent education. Please complete the survey at your earliest convenience...I am hoping that Covington will have a 100% response rate🤞. If you complete the survey and email me a screenshot of the proof of submission, your child will be recognized over the intercom on our morning announcements and receive a special prize from the principal.

We are approaching our second round of Family Conferences. Please click here for guidance on how to register for the time slots you would like for your child(ren). Registration will continue through February 19th. The actual conferences will take place on Thursday, February 23 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 24 from 11:30-6:30 p.m.

School hours have been adjusted on the dates of the Family Conferences.

• Thursday, February 23 is an early dismissal and students will be dismissed at 11:30
• On Friday, February 24, there is no school for students.

• Table teams of up to 10 will compete to show how much trivial knowledge they truly possess.

• Prizes awarded for both winning team and best theme. Trivia starts at 7:30PM.

• Tons of Raffles and Silent Auction items.

We will celebrate Friendship Day on February 14th. Please have your child/children dress in red, pink, white, or purple. We will have a small classroom party. If you child would like to bring a NON-EDIBLE treat they may. Please DO NOT send food!!!!

Calling all incoming Kindergarten families! Registration for new students is now open for the 24-25 school year, and applications will be processed starting January 16, 2024. Go to http://link.d123.org/kdg for more details.

Every school year, the Covington PTO has held a Pajama Day Fundraiser to help the Ronald McDonald House purchase items from their wishlist so they can continue to host families who have children going through medical treatments. All proceeds will directly benefit RMH and their continued mission to help families feel at home during their stay. This year, we would like to do more, and we need YOU!

Here is what you can do:

1.Collect pop tabs and send them in to school.

2. Make a donation from the RMH Wish List and bring it to school.

3. Pay $1 and wear Pajamas to school on Feb. 22nd
