Brandywine Elementary Art Show
The Imagine Brandywine Exhibit is a collaboration between the Rose Tree Media Elementary Schools and the Brandywine Museum of Art. In this exhibit, there are 107 works created by the talented students of the Rose Tree Media elementary schools, with each piece representing artists and subjects that connect to the museum collection. The result of this effort is a fascinating display that creates a colorful and memorable experience for Museum visitors.
This exhibition features work by fifth grade students from Glenwood, Indian Lane, Media and Rose Tree Elementary Schools. Students created works of art inspired by one aspect of the museum’s artists’ creative vision including raven prints (Jamie Wyeth), floral collages (Clementine Hunter), mixed media trompe l'oeil still lifes (William Harnett), chair studies (Horace Pippin), shoe drawings (Andy Warhol), and clay flowers (Georgia O’Keeffe). We are proud of each student’s achievement.
Students art work will be exhibited from Wednesday, October 25 until Sunday, February 11. Hope you can stop by and see the wonderful artwork.

Upper Darby Summer Stage
If you could give your child the tools they need to build confidence, self-esteem, and empathy for others, would you?
It's no surprise that recent studies have shown that the arts provide a valuable set of tools for your child! And at Summer Stage, your child will be given a toolkit to learn how to not only be a better performer, but more importantly, how to be a great person who works well with others, who benefits from positive feedback, and who learns skills they can use throughout their life.
"The arts...improve our psychology by offering enhanced self-efficacy, coping and emotional regulation. They improve our physiology by lowering stress-hormone response, enhancing immune function, and increasing cardiovascular reactivity. And that's just the beginning."
- Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross,
Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us
Most importantly, your child will have lots of FUN while building friendships that last a lifetime!

Whether your child is interested in collaborative behind-the-scenes tech work, singing, dancing, improv, or just having fun, Summer Stage provides a safe and happy "home away from home" for your child!

Delco Contact - Family Peer Connection
What is Delco Contact and How Does It Work?
Delco Contact supports families that are currently trying to access mental health services in Delaware County, by connecting with them through Family Peer Specialists (FPS) and Youth Support Partners (YSP. Learning about all the treatment options and planning to access them can be overwhelming at first. In Delco Contact you will work with FPS or YSP to enroll in the appropriate mental health program that is the best fit for you and your family. Delco Contact staff are parents and youth that have navigated the mental health system in Delaware County for themselves or their families. They have experienced similar challenges and know how to overcome the barriers that can sometimes stand in the way of getting the help that you need. We are excited to join with you and your family through our shared experience.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Here are some outcomes you can expect when Delco Contact partners with your family:
- We'll support through the application process of actively enrolling in Medical Assistance if needed
- We'll teach you about all the different mental health programs that are available to Delco residents and assist you in accessing the right services for you and/or your family
- We'll focus on your strengths and family's culture to best plan for your success with the help of peer support
