Six Week Grading Period
Last Friday was the end of the first six week grading period. Grade reports will be available in PowerSchool by the end of this week. Please click on “student reports” to see your student’s six week progress report.
The grades you see on your student’s six- and twelve-week progress reports provide an update of how a student is performing during the semester. Similarly, the grade point average you see on any given day in PowerSchool is calculated by a student’s current grades that day. A student’s official grade point average is calculated by final semester grades.
Six- and twelve-week report cards offer an excellent opportunity for families to talk about a student’s progress and goals for the end of the semester. If you have questions about a student’s progress, please contact their teacher, their school counselor, or any school administrator.

GHS Parents Advisory Council (PAC)
The officers of the GHS PAC hope you will attend PAC meetings, which occur on the third Tuesday of the month. Valuable information is shared each month about initiatives affecting GHS students, faculty, and staff. Principal Schnee attends and offers her insights and there are frequent special guests. Attend as often as you would like - there is no ongoing commitment required!
Please visit 2024-2025 PAC Meeting Schedule to view the meeting dates and times and check back for updates as special speakers are announced. You can also view highlights of previous meetings at 2024-2025 PAC Meeting Highlights to gather any information you may have missed.
The October meeting is this Tuesday, October 15 from 6-7pm and features representatives from the Bozeman Schools Foundation as well as updates from the recent Super PAC (district wide meeting of representatives from all Bozeman schools’ PACs). We hope you join us!

Thank you to all who supported the Rise of the Raptors kickoff tailgate!
The Rise of the Raptors, a committee of the GHS Boosters, wants to give a huge thank you to everyone who stopped at the tailgate before the Great Falls football game. We had a lot of fun and spread the word about the field enhancement project and raised money while we did it!
Special thank you to the volunteers who helped: Kim Sacry, Heather Tasker, Courtney Thomas, Jenn Gianikis, Leslie Armstrong, Sarah Andresen, and Andy Holm. Thank you to the generous volunteers at Holman Outdoor, Kelli's Designs, and LeeAnn Ramey.
If you have questions about the field enhancement project or want to get involved, please contact Kathi Jenkins at riseoftheraptors@gmail.com.
