We will be having outdoor recess as much as possible at WES. Please send your child to school with appropriate clothing for an outdoor recess (Coats, Gloves, Hats etc). Please dress your child in layers.
If a child does not bring a coat to wear outside they will not be allowed to go out with their class for recess without proper attire.
STUDENT ABSENCES
To ensure we have the most accurate attendance records for your child, please note the following:
1.) If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please call the office at 508-636-1075. If you get the voicemail please leave students name, teachers name, and reason the student is out of school. You can also email Ms.Amaral at Famaral@westportschools.org or wesoffice@westportschools.org.
2.)Please make sure all excusal notes are brought in within 48 hours of your child's return to school to be marked as excused.
STUDENT DROP OFF
When dropping off your child, please stay in your vehicle, in a single-file lane and follow the directions of the drop-off monitors. To protect the safety of the students and staff, refrain from passing other vehicles. Staff will be available to assist students so parents / guardians do not need to leave the vehicle.
REMINDER
Thursday, December 12 is a 1/2 Day for students. Parent Pick up begins at 11:45.
