NOTES FROM THE OFFICE
LOST & FOUND
If you have lost any valuables, SRO Kintzel wants to get lost and found cleaned out by the end of the year. I have serial numbers on all the AirPods. If they match or you can connect they will be yours. Also gave other valuables. If you have lost anything, get with SRO Kintzel. At the end of the year they will be set on a table for grabbing and then thrown in the trash.
Officer Kinzel
HOW DO YOU STOP CRIME?
- The first, everyone thinks of, catching the bad guys. If you see something, say something! Park where you are supposed to so it is unusual for people to be in restricted areas.
- The second, not everyone thinks of. Make it impossible to be a victim; "harden the target." Unfortunately, our parking lot is a target rich environment. Cash, chargers, computers, even credit cards are sitting out in sight. Recently, in the middle of the day, a car window was smashed, and the bad guy got away with a ton of stuff.
Take all valuables out of your car, at a minimum, nothing of value in sight. Let's not be a victim!
APRIL FAMILY TALK
April Family Talk
The final FastBridge Assessment window for the 2023-2024 school year will run from April 15 to May 10. Encourage your child to give their best effort and show what they’ve learned this year in reading and math!
As we prepare for the end of the year, I would love your help! Our May Family Talk will highlight some ways you can think about and plan for summer and I want to know exactly what you want to know. Please complete this Google Form to answer a couple of quick questions and leave feedback about what would be helpful to your family. Thank you in advance for taking the time to do this!
Family Support for Success
We are nearing the end of the semester and the VERY LAST opportunity to connect with one-on-one support! Sign up now to make sure you don’t miss your chance.
Have you ever had questions about how to support your children or their learning and been unsure who to ask? Take advantage of our program that will connect you with our district’s Family Engagement Consultant, Alysia Rich, for a one-on-one conversation to discuss your specific questions. Some ideas about topics to discuss are:
understanding grades or assessments
how to establish routines and habits at home
how to best support your child’s learning
behavior and responsibility
To sign up for a one-on-one session please complete this form and Alysia will contact you.

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION HEART BALL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Ambassadors are a group of selected high school sophomores who participate in educational and social programs and activities. The Ambassadors will be presented at the American Heart Association's Heart Ball. The activities will occur during the 2024- 2025 school year.
The Ambassador program is intended to be fun and prepare young leaders to be future heart advocates. Becoming an ambassador is an excellent resume builder, since these young men and women have the opportunity to learn valuable leadership development skills and network with peers. Attending the required sessions will equate to community services hours earned. (1.5 hour per session)
