4-H Project Idea Corner
Paper Quilt Project
Supplies:
- Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
To complete this project, you will need different sheets of colored paper. If you don't have different colors, you can always use crayons or markers to "design your own fabric" to complete the quilt. For a 4-patch quilt block, you will only use two different colors of paper or patterns. There are thousands of different quilt blocks made, choose one to research and then have fun choosing papers and creating! For full instructions on the 4-patch, click here.
Cooking with Kids: Contrast Snack Mix
Involving children in preparing meals is a great way to teach them food preparation skills and the importance of healthy eating. This week, we are highlighting a recipe for a snack that also serves as a lesson in contrasting colors!
