Superintendent's Message
Dear Ranger Families,
We’re thrilled the 2024-2025 school year is officially underway! Congratulations on navigating the first few weeks successfully. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we adjusted to new bus routes, welcomed new students, and integrated new staff members into our Ranger family.
On August 19, 2024, we kicked off the school year with our annual Convocation, where we had the pleasure of recognizing two outstanding employees as our Staff of the Year. These individuals, Mrs. Melanie Rivera and Mrs. Mandy Pless, were previously honored as Staff of the Month for their remarkable contributions. Their dedication continues to inspire us all. You can read more about their achievements below.
During Convocation, we also shared a heartwarming video that highlights the profound impact of our staff on our students. At the end of last school year, we conducted a survey asking our staff to identify three students who inspire them. We then asked our students to name one educator who has made a difference in their lives. We were delighted to discover nearly 30 matches among grades 3-12. This video captures how every role in our school community contributes to our students’ success. We invite you to take a moment to watch it here.
The future is bright in North Ridgeville. Over the summer, we officially approved Hammond Construction as our construction manager for the new high school and maintenance/transportation facility. We are excited to invite you to a Community Night on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 PM in the NRAC Cafetorium. This event will give you the opportunity to meet the teams from ThenDesign Architecture and Hammond Construction, learn more about the upcoming projects, and gain insights into the construction process. Child care will be provided for the event thanks to our student volunteers. Join us to get a glimpse of our future. We hope to see you there!
As we move further into September, let’s continue to build on our momentum and make this year the best one yet. Here’s to celebrating our students’ successes and making lasting memories!
Sincerely,
Roxann Ramsey-Caserio
