On Tuesday, May 6, Hightstown High School's Business Practice Firm class visited Shiseido in East Windsor.
Throughout the school year, the students have been running a virtual business, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as marketing, operations, and management. This trip provided a valuable opportunity to connect their classroom learning to real-world business practices.
Touring the facility and speaking with professionals across various departments gave students meaningful insight into how their work mirrors real industry operations.
On May 2 at Hightstown High School, students celebrated Decision Day where Seniors got to participate in activities to show off their post-secondary plans. They left notes for underclassmen with advice about things they wish they knew in their younger years of high school. They "chalked the walk" where they wrote their name and plans in chalk out on the front sidewalk. The students also entered a raffle and took a ton of fun photos! We are so excited for our students and wish them all the best on their future plans!
HHS DECA traveled to Orlando, FL to attend the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) from April 25th–30th. At this prestigious event, students participated in leadership seminars and competed against top DECA members from around the world.
Representing HHS with distinction, Tanush Mendhirata and Dylan Partyka advanced to the finalist round in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team Decision Making Event, showcasing their knowledge, teamwork, and competitive edge on the international stage.
