The Board of Education election will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Leading up to the election, General Home & School is partnering with the League of Women Voters of Naperville to put on a virtual candidate forum on Tuesday, March 7th at 8pm. To prepare questions for the forum we are asking for your input on what are the important topics in our district that you would like to hear the candidates thoughts on.

Please fill out this anonymous survey by TODAY, Sunday, January 22nd.

Look for further communication prior to March 7th regarding how to view the candidate forum on Zoom and Facebook and how to access the recording after the event.

Student Council is so excited to be hosting the 8th Grade Gala!

7:00 - 9:00 PM

We will need a lot of help to create the perfect night for our 8th graders.
8th grade parents: we welcome your help, but you will not be assigned in the dance area.

Here are the areas where we need volunteers:

• Runners (food pick up, balloon pick up, etc.)

• Food prep (support pick up)

• Food set-up and service

• Decoration creation crew (plan decorations; setup at 3 pm day of)

• Decoration set-up (start at 3 pm!)

• Clean Up Crew

• Coat Check before/after

• 
  

Also, if you have any connections or grand/Hollywood ideas...we need you!

Thank you to all of our students who created their online stores and worked hard to get orders and donations. Thank you to the parents, guardians, family and friends who supported our students! Our Annual Fundraiser that took place in September was a HUGE success! We earned a total of $24,090 for JJHS Home & School that will be put to great use for JJHS!

The Growing Place is sponsoring JJHS's front entrance pots; their experts taught students in JJHS's More Than Green Club how to select and arrange greens and decorations in our pots for the winter. Together they have made JJHS beautiful for the winter season. Please support The Growing Place with your planting and decor needs!

If you or your student have taken pictures during sports, clubs, music concerts or other Jefferson activities, please send the pictures to jjhsphotos@gmail.com so we can display them on the bulletin board in Jefferson Square. We are planning to change the bulletin monthly and need a lot of pictures!

Thank you to Chipotle for hosting our Patriots Night Out on 12/21, and thank you to all of the families who supported JJHS Home & School by eating dinner at Chipotle that evening! JJHS Home & School earned $156! Thank you for your continued support of JJHS Home & School so we can earn money to help our school!

Thank you to all of the families who showed their appreciation for our hardworking JJHS staff during the holidays this year!

$7,625 was given, and it was passed along to JJHS's amazing staff before the holidays!
