Dear Parents/Carers,
We’ve done it! Well done everyone for working so hard in this first half term. I have seen so many examples of our core values – respect, thankfulness, perseverance and forgiveness. These have not only been evident in our children but also the staff, families and local community. What a wonderful welcome you have given me!
FEAST vouchers will be handed out in November. If you are in receipt of Free School Meals you will automatically receive your vouchers via email. If you feel your circumstances have changed and you may now meet the criteria, please check on https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals
We are allowed to allocate some extra FEAST vouchers so if you feel your child would benefit from free access to these activities (due to bereavement, illness etc.) please message me directly.
The children have also been invited to make a poppy for our Remembrance competition (see details below). These will need to be returned on Monday 4th November so they can be displayed in time for our Remembrance worship.
Christmas card order forms will be in your child’s bag tonight so please place your order over the holidays so we can ensure they are delivered in time for Christmas.
Have a wonderful half term whatever you decide to do.
Best wishes,
Mel Walmsley
Headteacher
