The storage unit was also renovated to help volunteers find needed items and keep track of what the neighborhood owns. Pictures taken after major clean out.
Stuff gone through and donated or trashed.
Thank you!
Many thanks to Deb Elder and Christy Louella for helping to go through the kitchen and all storage areas. I could not have done it without them. They helped get rid of stuff and organize the new spaces!

Example of use at a Grad party
Credit: Rakhee Gor. Fantastic use of the new Bulletin Board system. Makes decorating easy for the renter and avoids any damage to the walls.
Construction company: Barn Doors and More of Forsyth
Barn Doors and More of Forsyth did our clubhouse renovation. They were wonderful to work with and stuck to projected timelines. They also did many upgraded projects for no additional cost to the neighborhood. The Board highly recommends them for any renovations you may have in the future.
Please welcome and thank our new Clubhouse Committee members
Clubhouse committee:
Kathy Haviland- Chair
Mirza Baig, Carmen Hurst, and Gayatri Seshadri
They will be in charge of managing all clubhouse events. A member of the committee will meet with renters to walk through the features of the clubhouse and responsibilities of the renter. The committee member will also be doing the inspection for damage after each rental event.
The Board appreciates their willingness to manage our new beautiful clubhouse!

Late Spring Clean up- time to get back to our yards
Please do your best to stay in compliance with our by-laws and convenances. We each signed an agreement when we moved into Shiloh Farms (which is a managed property). Every home adds or takes away from the aesthetic of our neighborhood and our houses are aging. We have noticed many mailboxes that need repair, shutters, and neglect of weeds in beds and in lawns. The Board does not like fining for such issues, but each house that is not maintained reduces the desirability of our neighborhood. Please adhere to your agreements and avoid any future fines.
1. Prune away dead and damaged branches.
2. Cut back and divide perennials as needed.
3. Clean up around plants and make sure to remove any leaves remaining from the Fall.
4. Weed your beds and apply weeding agent to your lawns.
5. Replace dead or diseased shrubs.
6. Place a new layer of fresh mulch or pine straw to your beds.
7. Mailboxes should be properly maintained, nothing should be hanging off of the mailbox and it should be structurally sound. Please make sure to wipe away bird poop, shore up your mailbox, and paint if necessary.
8. Painting should be maintained on all homes.
Thank you for all of your hard work keeping Shiloh Farms looking like a new development!
Please remember that every Scoop is housed on our Shiloh Farms website
Pool Season has begun!
Please remember to follow all pool rules
Pool rules and regulations posted at the link below:
First aid kit
A first aid kit and a CPR mask cover have been hung in a prominent location next to the water fountain. If you find something needs to be replaced in the kit, please email a Board member.
Call Box
Reminder that if there is ever an emergency at the pool, please use the Emergency Call box. It will automatically connect you to a dispatcher that can send an ambulance. The Board tests the call box every month at our monthly meetings.
Congratulations to all of our GRADUATES!!!
Make sure to get a pic with your graduate!
The sign will be taken down in July. Make sure to get your graduate pic with the sign before it comes down. Many thanks to Leslie and Steve Hoppe for volunteering to head this committee. They collect all names, have the sign made, and install an uninstall the sign. Please thank them for their volunteerism!
Volunteers abound at Shiloh
Shiloh Farms has a new maintenance committee headed by Lance Hall. Committee members include: Jason Lillis, Kevin Bourg, TJ Schmakel, Jeff Adler, Jeff Louella, Dustin Holland and many others. The committee has worked hard to save us money by putting in sweat equity. They have power washed, demolished the small rotten boards on the arbors, repaired and painted fence railings, completely replaced the wood on all trash cans and recently painted them all. They are constantly looking around to make property improvements and do all work within their scope that the Board asks them to do. Please thank them when you see them around.
Power washing and damaged trellis board removal completed by volunteers
I also want to send special thanks out to Dustin Holland, Kevin Bourg, Jason Lillis, Ramez Faza, Mark Thomas, Pete Smithing, Lance Hall, and Hokan Ojert and anyone else that helped in the power washing of the pool and tennis areas and removal of wood from the trellises.
Shiloh Farms Annual Fourth of July Pool Party

Tree work completed along Shiloh Road East
The Board has continued our work to maintain our large trees along Shiloh Road East. The trees were recently trimmed and all dead and dangerous limbs were removed.
Pickleball update
Pickleball is in full swing at Shiloh Farms. Residents have been enjoying the courts and the Board has noticed heavy usage by teens, tweens, and college students. Please continue to enjoy the courts. Please remember to reserve your court on RESERVEMYCOURT before heading out to play. If you reserve the court and someone is on the court, you can kindly ask them to leave and make reference to your reservation.
The pickleball committee has been looking into the possibility of installing a permanent court on our property. This would then become our pickleball courts and the nets could remain up all the time. Stay tuned for presentations from the committee concerning this new and exciting possibility.
Thank you and keep pickling!
