Studies have shown that you should remove your child's winter coat before placing them in the car seat. This has been on the news lately so we wanted to bring it to your attention. Click on the link below to see an article with tips for winter car seat safety.

It's time to start bringing winter clothing. Please make sure your child has mittens, hat and a winter jacket. Snow pants and boots are a must once the snow starts to fly, but some children also like them for warmth before the snow.

We do take the children outside at least once a day. Our outdoor policy reads:

We try to go outside every day. We are not staffed to keep children inside when everyone else is outside. Please make sure your child has the proper clothing to go outside every day. Our policy in the winter is as follows:

15 degrees and below – Don’t go out

16 – 25 degrees – 30 minutes max.

26 degrees and above – Staff discretion

This is also a good time to make sure your child's extra clothes are weather appropriate.

We will be having a party for Jesus' Birthday in the Church Fellowship Hall on Monday, December 23.

LDC: 10:00-10:30am You may send a snack/treat for your child to share. We will be providing cake and juice. Please plan for up to 9 kids

BH/DF/YC: 2:15 - 2:45pm You may send a snack/treat for your child to share. We will be providing cake and juice. Please plan for up to 38 kids

We will be closed December 24 & 25. Have a Merry Christmas! We will also be closed January 1 for the New Year.

All are invited to Trinity Lutheran School's Annual Auction Fundraiser! February 22nd @ Snowline Acres. The theme for this year's auction is "Clue."

We are still working on scheduling these and arranging transportation. We will send out a separate newsletter with a final schedule. If you know of anyone interested in driving our bus, please send them our way.
