DSC Professional Development
On Monday, January 27, Duneland School Corporation faculty and staff participated in the South Shore Winter Warm-Up professional learning day, with no students in school. This provided an opportunity for DSC staff to engage in collaborative professional development as a school community.
Faculty attended sessions designed “by teachers for teachers”, where they learned from one another, exchanged strategies, and refined their teaching methods in a supportive setting. Training took place across multiple locations and in some cases featured guest speakers to support strategic initiatives. In addition to instructional development, some staff received updates on new security protocols, and other systems and platforms that support DSC staff. Teachers also met in cross-district teams to review and discuss the implementation of key initiatives, fostering collaboration and alignment throughout the district.
NO SCHOOL - Winter Break
There will be no school for all Duneland School students on Friday, February 14 and Monday, February 17 to observe a winter break and the Presidents' Day holiday. The Duneland School Administrative Office will also be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 to observe the holiday.
