Junior Olympics is an annual tradition at Leyden. In the weeks leading up to Spring Break, the freshmen, sophomore, junior & senior classes can participate in various events and earn points. Then the day before Spring Break, the Junior Olympics take place in the field house. During Junior Olympics, the four classes compete against each other in a variety of "olympic" style games. Points are awarded to the winners of each game. At the end of the games, the Junior Olympics winning class is announced and gets bragging rights until next years' games.

To sign up for a Junior Olympics event, see the details below for each grade level. Event spots are limited.

• Freshmen: Event sign up will take place on Tuesday, March 12th after school in room 135.
• Sophomores: Event sign up will take place on Tuesday, March 12th after school in room 246.
• Juniors: Event sign up will take place on Thursday, March 14th after school in room 163.
• Seniors: Sign up will take place via a Google form emailed to you.

Junior Olympics shirts will be sold beginning Monday, March 18th. Any student participating in a Junior Olympics event must wear their class shirt.

• When: Monday, March 18th - Friday, March 22nd OR until they sell out!
• Where: Student Activities Office (D201) during ALL lunch periods
• Price: $13/each (cash or check accepted)
