April 2024 Newsletter
Bill's Corner
Happy April everyone! We are super busy here at Greenhalgh Legal Services with trust and estate tax returns on top of our normal caseload, but it sure makes the days go by quickly!
We all love April Fool's Day jokes, but don't pull one on yourself if your estate plan is outdated and in need of review! Let me check your estate planning documents to be sure they are up to date with recent law changes in estate taxes and distributions from IRAs. You also want to be sure all your assets are properly titled, and your beneficiary designations for life insurance, annuities, and tax deferred retirement accounts are correctly stated. These are easy things to overlook, so don't prank yourself this April 1. Call our office for a free estate plan review at (608) 355-0907. You'll be glad you did!
