Red River Families,
As an Associate Principal at RRHS, I see firsthand the challenges and triumphs students experience when they push through difficult tasks or circumstances. Our goal is to foster resilience not only in our students but also within ourselves. Resilient students understand that setbacks are not roadblocks but opportunities to learn and grow. Schools play a crucial role in nurturing this mindset by providing guidance, support, and social-emotional learning. However, we cannot do this alone—it takes a collaborative effort from educators, parents, and the entire community to help students stay on track and develop perseverance.
I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to our parents and guardians. Your support, involvement, and encouragement mean the world to your children and to us. Whether it’s ensuring they are prepared for school each day, cheering them on during difficult times, or simply reminding them of their potential, you make an incredible difference. Your partnership helps create a positive school environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. By working together, we continue to build a strong foundation of learning, resilience, and achievement, ensuring our students remain present, engaged, and ready to embrace the challenges ahead.
We closely monitor school attendance, and despite the flu and cold season, we are proud to report an average yearly attendance rate of 95.5%. This is no small accomplishment, and we want to thank all stakeholders for their ongoing support this year.
Thank you again for everything you do for our students.
Mr. Jay Hepperle
Associate Principal
