Robert M. Shoemaker High School Named Purple Star Campus
Killeen ISD is proud to announce that eight additional schools were recognized as Purple Star Designated Campuses by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) highlighting strong school support for military-connected students and families.
2023-2024 Yearbook
The 2024 Shoemaker yearbook is now on sale for the lowest price of the year. Buy your yearbook for just $55 online at Jostens.com or pay the cashier on campus through December 31 before the price increases. Yearbooks will come out in May.
Shoemaker families can congratulate their graduating senior in the 2024 yearbook with a senior announcement. Order online at JostensAdService.com or pay the cashier at SHS by February 8. For more information, contact Sandra.santiagogreen@killeenisd.org.

Varsity football tickets are available to be purchased online. Remember you can skip the line and buy your tickets online at www.killeenisd.org/football. If you purchase tickets before 5:00 p.m. on game-day, you can save $2 on the cost of admission.
Be a fan! Cheer on your team from the stands. Please do not linger and overcrowd the area near the concessions.

Changes to the Student Code of Conduct

Electronic Device Policy
KISD prohibits the use of personal electronic devices during the school day. It is addressed on page 12 of the Student Code of Conduct.
Policy from the KISD Student Code of Conduct (page 12):
"Telecommunications/Electronic Devices (201): Students may not display, turn on, or use a cellular telephone or other telecommunication device (including Smart Watches as appropriate) on school property during the school day* (as defined by the published starting and dismissal times for each campus).
*Exception for high school students only: Cellular telephones may be used outside the school building during the student's designated lunch period only.

Dress Code
Policies in the Student Code of Conduct, to include the Dress Code Policy, are implemented to promote student achievement through the creation of a safe and inviting environment for students and employees. Please review the dress code policy and allow it to guide the selection of your child's back to school dress.
