Bulldog Bulletin
September 5th, 2024
Dear Bulldog Families-
I hope this message finds you and your family well. As we move through another exciting and productive week, I wanted to take a moment to share some highlights and upcoming events at Galileo Middle School.
Weekly Highlights:
- Our cross-country team competed on Wednesday, September 4th and placed! We are so proud of our Bulldog cross-country team.
- Both our Chess Club and Photography Club are in full swing. It is not too late to join, however, students will need permission forms. Please reach out to Dr. Keller for Chess Club forms and Mr. Banker for Photography Club forms.
Upcoming Events:
- Flag football officially begins next Monday, September 9th. We apologize for the last-minute cancelation due to weather.
- September 11th is one of our home volleyball games this season. Come out and support our Lady Bulldogs beginning at 4:45p.
Reminders:
- Students need to be sure to carry their school IDs with them at all times. This will support them in moving through the lunch line quickly and they need them to get into after school athletic events.
- It is super important for all of our Bulldogs to be at school every day and on time. We want students to stay home when sick, however, it is super important that if they are not ill, they are at school by 8:35a and stay through 3:49p. If you are receiving calls that your student is absent or tardy, it is most likely because they are more than 10min late (attendance due per district policy) to class or missed up to 30min (marked absent per district policy). Please have a conversation with your Bulldog about the importance of being in class, on time and learning.
As always, we are grateful for your ongoing support and partnership. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to reach out.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
In partnership,
Julia Scott
