Attendance Matters
In March we are continuing to focus on increasing our students attendance. Attendance is crucial for a child's academic success. Each missed school day represents a lost opportunity for learning, impacting a student's ability to achieve. Research consistently shows a strong correlation between attendance and academic performance. Regular attendance leads to higher achievement levels, while chronic absenteeism can hinder even the most effective teaching efforts.
We are continuing Beat the Bell to increase punctual attendance. To celebrate students working to have great attendance students with 90% or greater attendance in the month of March will get to participate in a Spray Paint Party on April 5th.
Thank you for helping your students sustain great attendance!
Join us for our final 2023-2024 webinar on the topic of restorative practices. This virtual session will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 6:00 PM. We will continue to collaborate with our guests and thought partners, Collaborative School Culture. This community learning opportunity will provide greater insight into restorative language and restorative circles, as well as a preview of what you can expect to see happening in the cohort #1 PHSD buildings next school year. Classroom & Birthday Treats
To protect the health and safety of our students, homemade treats will not be distributed to students in the Park Hill School District. Due to allergies and other food intolerances, please consult your classroom teacher before sending any pre-packaged treats to school.
Students may bring a birthday treat or favor to school to share with their classmates, as long as they come from our list of treats that contain none of the eight (8) major allergens - milk, wheat, egg, soy, peanut, tree nut, fish and shellfish.
Thank you for understanding that all classroom treats must come from this list because we do not have the staff capacity to check for allergens that could threaten the health of some students. Please bring birthday treats ahead of time (two hours after the start of school, at the latest).

Families must establish their child as one of the following:

- Car rider (North side of building): All families with car rider students will receive a car name tag to place in the front car window to assist teachers assisting with student pick-up. car rider tags will be handed out at back to school night.
- Walker (South side of building): We are unable to dismiss you from the office.
- Adventure Club (Cafeteria)
Bus information will be in Infinite Campus on August 14 for students who are assigned a bus prior to August 4th.
