From the Principal's Desk
Hello Oriole Students and Families:
We've made it to the last week of school! Just because summer is near doesn't mean that we're done learning. There will be some great opportunities for our students to show what they know, understand, and are able to do next week through the final assessments that they will take. Students will take their final assessments in their 1st, 3rd, and 5th periods on Wednesday and will take their final assessments in their 2nd and 4th hours on Thursday. We will also distribute yearbooks and clean out lockers on Thursday. Friday will be the OJ Fun Day where students will go to all of their classes and will engage in fun educational opportunities throughout the day. Both Thursday and Friday of next week are half days with students releasing at 11:20 am.
This weekend, Ludington Area Schools and the Ludington Police Department will be hosting the Waves and Wheels Summer Safety Day at the Loomis Street Boat Launch. There will be lots of great swag at the event, see more information below!
We are looking forward to an amazing final week of the 2023-2024 school year!
Thank you for your continued partnership!
With Oriole Pride,
Mike Hart

5th Grade Visits OJ
Our 8th grade mentors did a phenomenal job in showing the Class of 2031 around the building this week. Mentors gave 1 on 1 tours to students and had a panel where they shared lots of great information about our school culture. Thank you to our mentors and school counselors Mr. Hull and Mrs. Bacon for their work!
