The event will be held on February 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Lucy Hurlin Theatre at ConVal High School. A snow date has been scheduled for February 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
We encourage all residents to attend, hear from key speakers, and participate in the discussion on these important topics affecting our community. News From Mrs. Pope in Title I
Welcome to February! Now that we have heard from the Groundhog and know that we have six more weeks of winter, it's a good time to share family literacy activities with you all! I will be sending home a grade level set of Family Literacy Activities and a Student Choice Board (Bingo Board) for each student in the school! If your student completes four or five activities, or more, on their Bingo Board, and returns it to me, I will offer them a trip to my treasure chest for a small prize! Let the Fun Begin! Mrs. Pope

Valentine's Day Class Parties
Valentine's Day Festivities
π We're getting in the spirit of the holiday by wearing an item of pink or red -- this could be a shirt, sweater, sweatpants, beanie, socks, earrings, a necklace, as long as it's within the dress code!
THEN... we'll be putting up a fun photo booth for students to take pics in their Valentine's Day colors in the Multipurpose Room during lunch. We hope students will get into the spirit. Teachers will be sending more information about guidelines for classroom parties shortly!

Second Grade Incentive
This week, second graders earned the incentive of being able to dress up in costume on Friday, 2/7 for making good choices all week and following expectations. They were given a choice of alternatives and they picked being able to dress up in costumes. Well done second grade, it pays to do the right thing!
Morphs and Milestones Reptile Visit
On Friday, 1/24/25, students interacted with various reptiles from Morphs and Milestones, who came to Pierce School. Students learned about different species, were able to touch some if they wanted to, and observed the beauty of each living creature. The kids were so excited about the visit and learned so much. It was an incredible experience, and they came away so energized and excited to have come up cose and touched these precious creatures!
We are so fortunate and want to thank Morphs and Milestone for coming to our school to educate us about reptiles. Our students had a fantastic experience! We also want to give a huge thank you to grandparent of one of our students at Pierce School, Peggy Abbott, for making this visit possible! Thank you both!

Thank you again, Melinda Adams, for facilitating our Ski Club this year! Have a great fifth week out on the mountain and enjoy the trails! πΏπ
