Dongsin Science HS Visit
On May 2nd, 80 Dongsin Science High School students and 10 faculty members visited PPHS from Korea. Visitors took part in an orientation, presentation, and Q&A time prepared by Korean class students. There was also a 'Taekwondo' demonstration by the Korean class and a performance of 'Samulnori', a traditional Korean music instrument, by the Hope Club. Mrs. Cho and the Korean class prepared 100 goody bags, which included 'welcome cards' written by Korean class students. After the workshop, they became Pen-pals, taking pictures together and sharing their social media information. It was a great time to exchange cultures between the two countries.
Teacher Appreciation Week
PPHS Teacher appreciation week was celebrated the week of May 1st. We wrapped up the week of celebrations with a food truck event for all staff. Thank you PPHS Teachers for all that you do!
PPHS Talent Show
On May 6th, PPHS held its annual talent show. Students danced, sang, performed comedy routines, and even displayed amazing memory skills. Big shout out to Ms. Elmohdli, Ms. Vivirito, & Ms. McCambridge for organizing the show. Another big shout out to our back stage crew for making sure the show ran without a hitch!
PPHS Dance Team @ Six Flags
Our dance team performed at Dancefest at Six Flags Great Adventure. As always, they represented Pal Park well! Great job!
Visitors from Korea
The Korean Region of Choong Chong Book Board of Education department came for a visit to tour our school. We had an enriching conversation about the state of education in both countries and some of the challenges we face. It was great meeting and speaking with them!
Academic Growth Reward!
The Sweet taste of success! Students who showed 5% growth on their LinkIt scores were treated to an Ice Cream Truck event! Next year, we will reach even higher goals!
Senior Basketball Game Fundraiser
The Senior Class Basketball Fundraiser was a success! The white team, coached by senior Antonio Gonzalez took the win against the black team, coached by senior Kai Lewis. Thank you to all the students and teachers who participated. A BIGGGG thank you to El Olivo, Urban Tomato, Cocina de Gaby ll for donating money towards our fundraiser, the Palisades Park PTA for helping plan this event, and Dr. Cirillo for approving this event.
Century Club!
Congratulations to Coach Will Hutchinson and Mr. Eliopoulos on being honored into the Century Club for their 100th win as Coaches! Both of these leaders are Pal Park's own; growing up in town, playing varsity sports, and now giving back to their community. Congratulations Coach Hutch & Mr. E! Tiger Nation is so proud of you!
Math Class Fun

Senior Awards & Scholarship Night
Select seniors were awarded scholarships and honors for their contributions and achievements in academics and athletics at the Palisades Park High School Senior Awards Ceremony. Congrats to all who were recognized!
AP Psychology Field Trip
On May 12th, Ms. Lewris’ AP Psychology students took a field trip to the Museum of Illusions in NYC. There, they got a chance to see some of the concepts they learned in class come to life in fully immersive, interactive, and mind-bending exhibits. A fun time was had by all!
Spring Concert
PPHS held its annual Spring Concert on May 31st. As always, how students put on a great show!
Christ Singleton Guest Speaker
Chris Singleton, motivational speaker, came to PPHS to spread his message of unity and how love can conquer hate. His message, delivered to students in grades 9-12, was well received. We look forward to hosting Chris next school year to share his message with our 7th and 8th graders.
